My number one choice didn't even make your list! lol

Where's Hav Plenty? Best Black Romantic Comedy ever and it was a more realistic portrayal of love, in reference to your Black Love blog.

good list there's no bill cosby on here though. add in the last dragon, i feel that purple rain add even though it's not really a black movie wait a minute you didn't have bad boys 1 and 2 before c'mon now and add in some more blaxploitation films like coffy or superfly. Good list though but I'm very serious about Bad Boys both of them.

Kirk Franco said...

Shaka Zulu. I can't believe I forgot this this is a classic should have topped the list. Shika is real for that add. All black movies are classic. . . well almost. Peace.

@ Kirk Franco, Thanx, I still remember seeing this movie for the first time. I was 9 and I was in ahh! The storyline, the cast, the sceneray, everything about this movie had me ready to move to Africa. Of course as a child some of the movie freaked me out, but I understood the message.
