Some of you might have already seen this video, but if you have not...WATCH IT!
This is an amazing story of a little boy that was told he had two weeks to live. When asked what his last wish was, he stated that he just wanted to feed the homeless. Most kids usually ask to meet their favorite celebrity, take a trip, or have a certain toy, this little boy wanted to give to other people. His request inspired people all over to participate in a food drive to feed the homeless.
This little boy has left a legacy behind of service...
What legacy will you leave behind?
Have you ever done a major selfless act?
During the week of Thanksgiving think of one thing that you are going to do for someone else.
Write it down below and share with the rest of us. We will hold you to it! :)
Let this little boy be an inspiration to give back as much as you can to other people! The more you are blessed...the more you should bless others.
(Check the comment section to see what I plan on doing this week for someone else)

Make plates for homeless people that live in my area on Thursday. But real plate...not buying those can goods from the stores that they claim they donate. I want to personally give them a real Thanksgiving meal. Thanks for inspiring me little boy! :)
And I am giving my seat up on the train for all of my elders (anyone over 40) from Thursday to Sunday. Usually I only give it up to really old people. lol
I have always considered myself a giving person it seems as if I am always looking to help others. This video displays selflessness at another level I admire this young man..
Hello there!
That is just beautiful.
I hope we understand that those who are struggling to stay alive from day to day in the ghettos are not any LESS compassionate but they are focused on survival first. Once a person does not have to focus on survival and having immediate needs met, that person is able to think about others.
I am so happy to see this boy showing the example of compassion and altruism but let us also think about HOW we must create a nation where ALL Americans are able to focus on others...that means we need to work at ensuring that "survival" is not the rule of the day for millions of black people.
I have been to homeless shelters on Thanksgiving...they are turning AWAY car loads of prepared foods because their residents can only eat so much food in one day... these facilities need canned goods because they need to eat the rest of the week.
These shelters do not have the refrigerators to salvage all of the prepared dishes that are dropped off on Thanksgiving.
I hope that those who truly want to make a difference in feeding the homeless will do so on ALL OTHER days and not just on a holiday. The homeless are hungry every day.
On an unrelated note....
We need all trumpets blaring in cyberspace to protest the racist disparagement of Princeton scholar, Dr. Yolanda Pierce, by seminary students who have not been disciplined.
