A MESS....it's 2009 man...when will it end.
People can be so ignorant...
I've said it before and I'll say it again...Part of the dream has occurred but the world is still sweltering with injustice! As long as people continue to support his ignorance ass...he'll continue to think its okay to make ignorant comments and pastries.
the sad part is that he really is serious.
we have to pray for ppl like him.
Your, His, and My President is Black, and there isn't anything he can do about that...he can take those cookies and___________________!
The crazy thing about all of this...is that this fool will probably get 10 times the business that he use to...cause now he is all over the news.
Out of all the people that decided that this was wrong...there were so many people that probably bought them...not thinking anything of it.
Things like this is a challenge towards our powerful step foward. People dont like the step we have taken...and will do anything to make us take two steps back.
This, is ridiculous....
I see stupidity like this all the time. He does have a right to name the cookies whatever he wants to, however, I hate when bigots purposely do things that they know will offend people and then act like they don't know what you are talking about when you get offended. I'm more offended that he played stupid. I'd rather he come out and say "yea, I knew it was hateful, that's why I did it." It least then I'd respect him more for standing by his actions.
Hopefully that wakes up the people who keep saying we are entering a post racial America! Sometimes you have to just stop getting clouded by the dream and start paying attention to the reality. There were about just as many people in this country who did not want Obama to be president.
I know it's easier to believe we're all in the same gang but there is a large chunk of this country who isn't raising the peace flag!
@ the south and Freeman: great points! I have way more respect for people that stand behind what they believe. If you named the cookies that..dont back down now. Say it loud and be proud.
Also there are millions of people that dont believe in Obama and this so called new change. Watch carefully as these people start to come to light. Dont be surprised when its the person that sits next to you daily.
the question is ...did anyone purchase the cookies?
