Yeah thanks for giving us at least one example where women are attractive without showing their butts. Without Claire huxtable how many men would think their women are only sex symbols. The Cosby show put the brakes on a already out of control stereotypical black public image.
TV is not the same anymore , solid TV shows like this no longer exists.The Cosby Show is something that we should strive to achieve. I agree with FreeMan, Clair Huxtable was sexy, intelligent and classy.
OMG! Calir Huxtables was the perfect example of how a black women should be. You don't have to be exactly her, but she showed you how to carry yourself, raise your family, work, and still be beautiful while doing so!!! ;) I love the Cosby's...as you can all see!
I hope Dr. Cosby, the cast and all involved with this great show understand what a tremendous gift they have given our nation. Besides providing quality entertainment it provided a wonderful introduction to African-American culture without being preachy or condescending.
Jazz, blues, art, education, family and faith was shared in a way that to this day has not been duplicated.
