2009 Uptown Summer Classic..."A Taste of Harlem"

The Event of the year is coming up....where will you be? Will you be "Keeping Up"?

HITS, INC is "Keeping Up" and honoring others that do the same!

HITS, INC presents the 2009 Uptwon Summer Classic..."A Taste of Harlem".

When: Sunday August 30, 2009, from 1:00pm – 8:00pm

Where: Riverbank State Park – Picnic areas 4 & 5
145th Street at Riverside Dr.

The River Room (Outdoor Patio - VIP reception from 1-3pm

What: HITS, Inc. and The 300 Club will be hosting a fun, free picnic event in honor of the many generous donors and volunteers who have demonstrated their commitment to youth in their local communities.

The 300 Club will also be taking $10 donations if you would like to help send a group of students on a college tour. (contact me at bwomack@imkeepingup.com)

Why: We expect that this event will inspire more professionals and entrepreneurs to give back to youth in their communities.

Who: Attendees: confirmed 300+ young urban professionals and entrepreneurs.

The VIP reception and Awards ceremony will go from 1 to 4pm, and will be hosted by BET's Alesha Renee, Senator Bill Perkins, and Assemblyman Keith Wright.
