Woman fined for wearing pants, who could have recived 40 lashes


Monday American troops were accused of storming through a hospital in central Afghanistan, breaking down doors and tying up staff in a search for militants. The accusers were a Swedish charity group, and the U.S. military said it was investigating. Another investigation is going on in Louisiana. Dennis Carter Sr. shot and killed his wife, son and 2-year old grandson, then as police tried to pull him over about 20 minutes later, he shot himself. Also shot was his daughter-in-law, Amber Carter, who was six months pregnant, and forced to give birth to a healthy baby boy named Aubrey. She said that she will not pay the fine, so she will serve one month in prison. She plans to appeal to the constitutional court to fight for this law to be declared unconstitutional.
