Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can't ride you unless your back is bent. -Martin Luther King, Jr.
How will you apply today's quote to your life?

Through working to change those parts of myself that are "changeable," but that I consistently refuse to address.
@anonymous: That is a good step. I think that most of us see so many things that we could change about ourselves, but we never take them time or energy to truly adress them. We continue to accept what already is and never want to take the step toward change.
Sometimes we try, see that the change isn't coming fast enough, and then we give up. Something as small as getting in shape is the perfect example. People try to get on meal plans and work out...but since results don't appear right away we stop.
We must put work into things that we want changed and not wish that things would just happen for us. Great things come to people that work. Sometimes we are giving things just because, but understand someone else worked for it.
