A second massive earthquake hits Indonesia, not giving them a lot of time to recover from the previous days quake, which killed more than 500 people. That was not the only place that experienced a natural disaster, Samoa did also. The island was hit by a tsunami that ruined towns and killed at least 150 people in the South Pacific. More on world news, the U.S. and five other world powers began talks with Iran to ask them to freeze its nuclear activities, and the U.S. has even said they are open to talk to Iran one-on-one. Speaking of activities, China's people take part in a parade to celebrate their 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and 60 years of communist rule.

The U.S. is showing signs that the economy is improving, because of the increase of consumer spending, the bulwark of economic growth. But the questions is whether the continuous rise in unemployment will help sustain consumer spending? Well, authorities are trying to help the mother in this next story. A woman posing as an immigration agent snatched a newborn from a Nashville, Tenn., home after stabbing the baby's mother, Maria Gurrolla. Who the woman is, still remains a mystery. For five years it has been a mystery on why honey bees have been dying off. A new film proposes that neonicotinoid pesticides is to blame. Speaking of dying, U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson refuses to back down from a recent comment he made stating that the GOP health care plan calls for sick to "die quickly," and then went on to say, "I apologize to the dead" for not acting on health care sooner. Staying on the topic of health, the H1N1 vaccine should be available in some areas next week, and the test have found no serious side effects for taking the vaccine.

Phillip Garrido, the convicted rapist accused of kidnapping Jaycee Lee Dugard more than two decades ago, alleges her civil rights have been violated, free speech and being refused an attorney, and asked KCRA 3's Walt Gray to contact Dugard. The number of initial unemployment claims in the week ending Sept. 26 rose 17,000 to 551,000. It's the highest level since before the Labor Day holiday. Speaking of jobs, Bank of America CEO Ken Lewis announced Wednesday afternoon that he would retire from the company effective Dec. 31 as both CEO and a director.

My heart goes out to the woman that had her baby snatched. That situation makes you fear trusting anyone you come in contact with. I hope that justice is served, and the baby is returned to her mother alive.

I actually think that the comment that U.S. Rep Alan Grayson said was somewhat necessary to be said to the GOP. Of course the GOP is not really to blame for people dying, but because of their lack of plan to help cover the American people, they indirectly lead to the millions of Americans dying because of lack of health care. I think the main purpose behind Grayson's comment was to hit the GOP hard, and hopefully spark some type of fuel for them to move forward with a health care plan. Sorry....I support this outburst!

I am glad that they are coming out with a vaccine for H1N1, but I will not be the first one to try it. I am so scared of products that just hit the market, especially ones that can effect my health. Someone else please let me know if it works!

Is Garrido serious? He is arguing that Jaycee's civil rights were violated, when he violated her rights as person by kidnapping her when she was 11 years old. Why are they even entertaining this guy?
