"Walk by faith not by sight." This is exactly what Eli does in the amazing new movie The Book of Eli starring Denzel Washington as Eli. The story highlights Eli on a thirty year journey after a devastating event. Eli is on a journey to the west coast of the United States. On his journey he runs into many enemies but overcomes them with his amazing fighting skills.
Searching for a source of water he arrives in a town which is overseen by Carnegie (Gary Oldman). Carnegie is a literate man and he has gangs looking for a book, though the gangs do not understand why he wants the book.
Eli's journey and Carnegie's search for the book he wants creates a conflict for both. It is truly an experience to watch Eli on this journey and his fight to beat this surprising conflict. Although a slow start, I left the movie in awe. The movie left me re-evaluating my life and my faith. I encourage all my readers to go and see this wonderful story and amazing performance by Denzel Washington. Ladies and Gents, I think Washington did it again. He steals the hearts of the audience once more.
Keep up and go see the movie!

I agree, I walk in expecting a action-packed movie but in actuality I saw something of biblical proportions,it was like a modern day version of a couple different tales in the Bible. everyone should go see that
@Ceo: It was like a modern day version of a story in the Bible! It also gave you a strong respect for how much power books have all together, not just the bible. It reminds us that the knowledge is behind the covers of the millions of books written.
