MEDIATATION- A JOURNEY TOWARDS PEACE

Meditation is an approach or way to train the mind which can be performed at any time of the day and in any place. Meditation helps in giving peace of mind, no matter whatever is going on around those who are practicing this technique. The most important goal of the meditation is to keep you focused and make your mind and body calm. Dr. Pankaj Naram, a healer of ancient medicine, has encouraged people to meditate for a long time.

WAYS TO MEDITATE

There are many important and helpful ways in which a beginner can start practicing the process of meditation. Some of the important ways are as follows:-


  1. CHOOSE A PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT

 Meditation should be practiced some calm and peaceful place and environment. This will enable or help the individual to focus only on the task which is at hand and avoid distracting their mind with outside stimuli. As a beginner you must try to find a place where you cannot be interrupted or disturbed for the duration of your meditation no matter whether it lasts for just few seconds, minutes or half an hour. It is important to avoid any kind of external as well as internal distractions.

  1. WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES.

During the process of meditation practices try to wear loose clothing advises Dr. Pankaj Naram. One of the most important goals of meditation is to calm the mind and prevent the external factors and this can be difficult if you feel uncomfortable due to tight clothes. It is also suggested that you must make sure to remove your shoes.

  1. SIT IN A COMFORTABLE POSITION

 It is very important that you are sitting in a comfortable position while you meditate, which is the main reason that finding the best position for you is very essential. Generally meditation is practiced by sitting on the ground. Until your legs, hips, and low back are not in a flexible position you can’t meditate peacefully and properly. Most of the process of meditation on the ground takes place in a lotus postures or position. You must also choose a correct posture that allows you to be balanced and straight.

  1. CLOSE YOUR EYES

The best way to perform meditation is with the eyes open or closed. As a beginner it may be best for you to first try to meditate with your eyes closed. This will help you to block out the external visual stimulation and prevent you from distraction as you focus on calming your mind and body.

  1. SET YOUR MIND AND FOCUS

In order to meditate, you must focus on one thing only and if you are a beginner, it might help you to focus on one thing, like your favorite song or visual object. This will help you to reach a deeper level of consciousness and you can perform your meditation with ease.

This can be difficult at the initial stage as focusing mind is not an easy task. However, as you keep doing it under a practiced healer, you would gradually get better at doing it.
